When I was a College lad at Cal St. LA., in the early 90's I was fortunate to stumble upon a group of amazing artists, musicians, comics, poets and coffee drinkers at Troy Café. It was once the punk art venue Atomic but became the Latino arts satellite of cultural exchanges. I will never forget that time but as a filmmaker Randy Gordon-Gatica said, whom I meet over 20 years ago at Troy, "Everything is better in memory."
