Mexico is given the world so much. One of its great gifts is the pre-Colombian holiday of Dia de Los Muertos. Celebrated at first for a whole month, the indigenous people were smart enough to mask this sacred time during the Catholic holiday of All Saints day on Nov. 1st. I'll put up various articles soon on the history and practice of "Dia," but for now to get us in the mood to commune with the dead, here are some amazing musical performances centered around this rich holiday.
